Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product replacement. Shavel Home Products called me and is sending a repkacement. Thank youl.

I purchased a Shavel electric blanket online through The Warming Store. The blanket quit working after the first month, just outside The Warming Store warranty.

Now, I have to deal directly with Shavel Home Products. It is impossible to reach a person on the phone.

I have left two messages without a call back. Not even sure if my messages are getting through.

The controllers don't work for very long.

The heat cuts off in the middle of the night, the blanket gets cold, I wake up. I turn the controller back on again.

Works for a couple of hours, shuts off again. This is supposedly a new controller, sent on request because of same problem with the former controller. The blanket is lovely.

The controller is a non-starter. Buying a new brand.

User's recommendation: Don't buy this brand. Shavel can't seem to get its controllers to work long term. We can put a man on the moon, why can't we get the electric blanket controllers to work?????

My blanket failed after one year. It had 5 year warranty but I can’t access any help with customer service.

It was delivered and worked fine for one winter, but halfway through the second winter, one side failed. I paid more for this blanket because of the 5-year warranty but can't get customer service to help.

I did chat online with Pearl Wilson, but when she switched me to someone else, the company wanted all sorts of financial information I won't give out. All I want is a replacement blanket.

Bad Experience

We are on our 3rd blanket since Aug 2022 and I have been trying to contact customer service for 2 weeks and no reply back, They do not care about the warranty or their customers. If you purchase, it wont last and they dont care.

The new 6 blade razor sucks. It's hard to install and when you get a head to go on the result is a *** shave!

I am a long time customer and this new blade does not work!

My blanket is defective

No contact was made to me about my blanket. I have 5 Shavel blankets and obviously I got a dud.

I was sent a new controller but it has not fixed the problem. The blanket still will not heat any warmer than the lowest setting even when I turn it on high.

Product stopped working & they won't honor the warranty

Bought a $180 blanket from their company. Stopped heating after 2 1/2 years.

Contacted them for a replacement and they told me I had to send in the registration card to be eligible. That's not legal (https://www.law.cornell.edu/cfr/text/16/700.7).

Doing some research I see that they have numerous similar complaints on Facebook, Better Business Bureau, etc. I wish there was a better way to spread the word and tell people not to believe they'll get 5 years out of their products.

I just received my blanket and love it! But don’t like the warranty card that came with it.

It says to register the product if u want the warranty honored but the website they send u to, doesn’t work. I will try the email info@***.com.

The company phone number goes to voicemail and they will not call back, sent 3 emails and they won't respond. They sent a size comforter I did not order.

They will not contact me back after multiple attempts to fix the problem. Stay away from this company

I should also add that I did register my blanket on the Shavel.com website about a week after I received it. This supposedly puts me into their database so they can find me easily if there are ever any issues, and activates a 5 year warranty.

I should note that I purchased the blanket from Macys.com - when I called them to inquire about a refund or return, they insisted I had to contact Shavel directly.

My electric blanket stopped working a few months after I purchased it. I attempted to contact customer service many times over a two week period, both by phone and via their website, and received no response.

I tried calling two different phone numbers - no one ever answers either number, nor does anyone return my calls/messages. I filled out the online customer service request form three different times over the last two weeks, and never got a response besides the automatic response that says they will get back to me within 24 hours.
